Grace is a creative litigation attorney that defends foreclosures, negotiates loan modifications, and prosecutes consumer claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and Ohio's Consumer Sales Practices Act. In January 2011 she began litigating with co-counsel a class action that alleged deceptive foreclosure practices (confidential settlement) and has continuously been involved in class action litigation, obtaining confidential settlements for clients.
Grace has extensive experience with depositions, including video depositions,and uses her attention to detail to try to catch bank representatives in lies. Grace has taken the depositions of all five banks that signed the National Mortgage Settlement - Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase Bank,Wells Fargo, GMAC/Ally, and Citi. She has also deposed employees of Ocwen, Select Portfolio, Fifth Third, and Caliber/Vericrest.
